Membership
Membership is available in
two forms, voting and nonvoting. Voting membership is available to companies and
institutions with some portion of their operation located in South Carolina.
These companies and institutions must be considered users of
telecommunications/data services and equipment and NOT predominately engaged in
the production, sale or rental of telecommunications/data products and services.
Nonvoting membership is
available in limited numbers to vendors and suppliers of telecommunication/data
products and services.
Individuals whose companies
or institutions will not sponsor their membership may join as an individual
member as long as their company or institution would qualify as a voting member.
Benefits
Member organizations and
their representatives can benefit from the presentations and discussions with
other telecommunications/data professionals. Communication continues outside the
formal meetings as members call on other members for advice and guidance.
The ITPSC provides a vehicle
whereby its members can be kept abreast of technology innovations and regulatory
developments within the industry and affords its members the opportunity to act
upon, instead of react to, those changes.
